Tyson Anae is the Chief Operating Officer of CSA Partners, where he has been a core part of the team since March 2021. Originally from Laie, Hawaii, Tyson brings 12 years of experience to his role — and a background that sets him apart in this industry. As a Licensed General Contractor in Idaho and a member of the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals (ASCSP), he understands construction and cost engineering from the inside out.

Tyson started his career as a masonry hod tender during high school, carrying materials for residential track home crews — hands-on work that gave him an instinct for how buildings actually come together. That foundation informs how he thinks about cost segregation today: not just as a tax strategy, but as a precise analysis of how a property was built and what that means for its owners.

What drives him is simple: he genuinely enjoys working alongside his colleagues and is passionate about helping clients save on taxes through cost segregation. Off the clock, Tyson is equally at home on the golf course, exploring a new campsite in the Uinta or Wasatch ranges, or watching his daughter compete on her path to becoming a professional golfer. He’s married with two kids — a 16-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son.
